Brief Overview of the College The Higher Institute of Nursing in Gharyan was established in 1996 to graduate medical support personnel in the field of nursing. In 2007, by virtue of former Decision No. (535) from the General People's Committee, the College of Nursing was established. Subsequently, Decision No. (618) of 2016 was issued by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, amending the college's previous name to the College of Health Sciences at the University of Jabal al-Gharbi.
